The Sportsman’s Paradise Amateur Radio Club (SPARC) brings together radio enthusiasts of all experience levels including beginners who are just discovering the hobby to seasoned operators who enjoy digital modes, HF, county hunting, satellite communication, APRS, and even building their own radios and equipment. Our club is open to everyone, and we love welcoming newcomers who want to learn, explore, or simply connect with a friendly community of hams.
No prior knowledge of electronics or radio is needed. SPARC members are always happy to help you get started, point you toward helpful study resources, and even provide free amateur radio testing right here in Wakulla County.
We meet on the third Thursday of each month (except December) at 7:00 PM EST at the Wakulla County Public Library.
Annual membership dues are $25, which help support club insurance, repeater operation and maintenance, and the utility costs that keep our systems running. As a 501(c)(3) organization, SPARC is committed to serving both the amateur radio community and the wider public.
And remember—dues are never required to attend meetings or use our repeaters. Everyone is welcome!
